Bancnet is the second and one of the biggest ATM consortium in the Philippines. It was founded on July 17, 1990 which is the result of the ideas of Ramon C. Arceo, Jr., SVP of Philippine Commercial International
Bank(PCIBank), Carlos Pedrosa, SVP of Metropolitan Bank and Trust
Company (Metrobank), and Jose F. Santos, SVP of Rizal Commercial Banking
Corporation (RCBC).
Bancnet over the years has an impressive improvement and progress as it connects its cardholders especially the Filipinos all over the world to their account here in the Philippines. It is now in the level of JBC, Mastercard and Visa as it gained international partnerships.
